About the event
G42 Presents
On 29 January 2027, the stage of Dubai Opera will shine with the artistry of Steinway artist Yuja Wang, one of the world’s most celebrated pianists. Known for her virtuosity, charisma, and emotional honesty, Yuja has captivated audiences across the globe with performances that blend technical brilliance and profound expression.
Her recent highlights include an unprecedented performance of all four Rachmaninoff piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini in a single evening at Carnegie Hall, as well as acclaimed collaborations with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic, and Gautier Capuçon on an European recital tour.
Yuja Wang's upcoming recital tour comes with an unusual promise: no program will be announced in advance. Audiences will not know what they will hear until the moment she sits down at the piano — a deliberate departure from the printed program note, restoring an experience without a prior knowledge.
"I want the audience to come without expectations — with no preconceived idea of what they're about to hear. Just the moment, and the music, experienced with open ears, uninterrupted. To experience the music itself, not the expectation of it." – Yuja Wang.
Supported by Steinway & Sons and House of Pianos. Organized by M Premiere.
